portfolio product design.

what is good design?

Good design carries a lot of responsibility. It includes solutions in terms of functionality and aesthetics, address and content, simplicity and user-friendliness, as well as the environment and resource consumption. Good design is sustainable, intuitive, functional, (action) motivating and psychologically valuable. I am convinced that with well thought-out design you can create an incentive to change something in life, to move away from conventions and to discover new qualities.

Chosen projects:

Fitness furniture Heimathlet

The Heimathlet is pursuing the goal of getting more people to exercise regularly with multifunctionality and a well thought-out design. The forward-mounted rung structure, in combination with gymnastics rings and mat, enables the training potential of a fitness studio in a small space. In addition, an elegant cantilever chair can be created in just three movements, the seating comfort of which can be adjusted quickly and intuitively to any body size. The home athlete thus becomes a place of activity and relaxation, both of which are important for physical and mental regeneration.

The raised bed PflanzMobil

The PflanzMobil is a mobile raised bed that can be placed anywhere and is suitable for growing different types of vegetables, herbs, flowers and berries by offering them ideal soil conditions. An integrated irrigation system and complementary add-ons for careful cultivation allow ideal conditions for different growth needs. Not only for hobby gardeners with little open space, but also for schools (or other educational institutions), this enables quality school gardening lessons that help children with a real harvest to experience success and encourage interest in their own cultivation.

Tourist experience concept viattiva

A cultural and adventure concept called viattiva was developed for a hiking area in South Tyrol, which connects the tourist attractions of the 4 communities in this region. The name viattiva is made up of the terms "via" (the way) and "attiva" (active) and is a program with its diverse opportunities for discovery.
The focal point of the concept is the hiking map with its network of paths and the attractions located on it, which are sorted into different subject areas such as legends, nature and history. The pictograms on the map are also placed in nature and thus identify the respective local attraction. You can find out what information is hidden behind the individual pictograms from the associated viattiva hiking diary, the viattiva travel game or the viattiva app.

porcelain stories

Eating in company is an important socially binding element and sometimes defines different cultures. What we eat also influences how we eat and shapes our table manners and food handling.
The Gusto series consists of a flexible and minimalist set that allows a wide range of uses. All 4 components are coordinated with each other in shape and size so that they are suitable for preparing, serving and keeping food fresh.

Another porcelain set was created for the purpose of experimental studies of the form and refinement of the material.
